Happy Friday, y’all! I know it’s been a hot minute, and I’ve got all kinds of updates for you on house things, Chicago things, and life things. Get ready!
For now, I want to use this Friday Favorite to talk about the company behind one of my favorite tanks that you’ve seen me wearing on trips, prior to pregnancy, on grocery runs, during pregnancy, at the gym, post pregnancy. Ok, I wear it all the time. So sue me.
Project 615 is a philanthropic apparel company based in my hometown of Nashville, TN, and they operate according to Matthew 25:40: Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.”
My favorite thing about them is that they employ those in need, those who have struggled in the past and those who are on the road to recovery from homelessness, addiction and mental illness. However, they don’t just stop there, they also have special edition apparel that benefit other organizations and causes as well. (You may have caught wind of their teaming up with Thomas and Lauren Rhett to benefit 147 Million Orphans with sales from their Home Team T-shirts.)
If you know me, you know I absolutely adore my hometown and have all kinds of Tennessee pride. However, helping those who suffer from addiction is also a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that all of their tees and apparel are artfully designed and just…well, awesome.
Check them out by clicking on the link here. You don’t have to be from Nashville to spread the love. <3
