Did you guys have a good Memorial Day weekend?! I hope you got to eat and drink all of the things. That’s the best part about long holiday weekends, at least in my opinion. 😉 I baked some yummy fudge cookies and binge watched Vampire Diaries which I’m considering a major win. (Funny how your idea of fun shifts once you have a kid…)
I wish I could tell you about how we went out and seized the weekend and ended up on boat and watched a beautiful sunset, but in reality, we were actually doing things like mowing the yard, cleaning out our filing cabinets and getting rid of old furniture. We are working our booties off getting ready for this upcoming move, and it’s going to be so rewarding once we’re finally in our new home and setting up our new space.
Adam has also been writing me 15 minute workouts so that I can get back into the swing of all things fitness, (perks of your husband being a former personal trainer) and y’all, I am SORE. Having a baby and then trying to work out again is just…YIKES. But when I envision our future as a family, I see us all going for long hikes, playing outside and being super active. I just need to be able to keep up with these boys…
Yesterday I did a nifty little upper body work out that had me sweating my face off. By the end I could hardly get those 10 lb dumbbells over my head, but I’ve gotta get these shoulders in shape for all those cute off-the-shoulder tops that I’m seeing everywhere. I mean really- it’s kind of my favorite summer trend.
Of course I’ve already got a couple stocked in my drawer, but shopping has always been a fun motivator to hit certain fitness goals. What about you guys?
I’ve gone through and picked out some of my favorite tops for under $50.
